Voluteers Speak

Riya is 10 grader at American Embassy School She was one of the volunteers during 2016 session. She will be one of the leaders for 2017 session. While sharing her experience with us she said: ‘ It was really a very nice experience they were a very good group of kids and showed good interest in learning. I think they were very engaged and used things from sessions and taught each other too. I feel that such interactions are very important and it gives them a chance to achieve more in their lives and do better. Out of one my fond memories I would like to share that when we went to playground we were swinging on tyres I could see how Pinky & Najma were happy & enjoying. It was really nice to see them try to speak in English and talk to me to describe how they felt.’

‘It was really nice I must say they were very motivated. I clearly remember that Priyanka use to raise her hand and always asked many questions which showed us a good sign of inquisition from her end. I have worked with various NGO’s I did not expect these things from them they were pretty advanced and while we use to teach them through laptops & power points they were able to learn quickly and were very happy in short they exceeding my expectations!’
